JAT Software, Inc. provides year-end software and Internet hosted services for large organizations with high volume tax form needs. JAT specializes in online employee self-service solutions for electronic form distribution of W-2s, W-2c's and pay stubs.

The Company was incorporated in 1987. JAT Software began developing client-server database solutions in 1990. PRINTVIEW PLUS, a Windows-based solution allowed companies using traditional mainframe payroll systems to interface W-2 data to their desktops. This brought payroll departments with high volume W-2 reissues an efficient PC-based process to quickly batch print forms without the laborious mainframe scheduled tasks. PRINTVIEW PLUS has evolved into a comprehensive year-end application supporting W-2s, W-2c's, 1099MISC, 1099R, 1042S, 1099 Series, W-2G, 1098's and other tax forms. In November of 2008, JAT released version 18 of PRINTVIEW PLUS.

In 1999, JAT Software developed a hosted Internet W-2 retrieval system called e-PRINTVIEW. The first release of e-PRINTVIEW allowed for employee self-service of a W-2 reissue in an electronic format. This allowed companies to replace paper forms with a more efficient online electronic version using a PDF format. In 2002, the IRS released temporary regulations that would later become final in February 2004 (TD (Treasury Decision) 9114), allowing for the original distribution of W-2 forms in an electronic format. This naturally expanded the capacity of e-PRINTVIEW's W-2 Reissue system to Original W-2 forms. The system continues to grow at a rapid pace as more organizations move from a paper and postage intense process to the superior electronic distribution method. In 2008, JAT added online pay stub capabilities to the existing rich presentation features of e-PRINTVIEW. The system is completely hosted by JAT Software and fits the current SAAS (Software As A Service) model of remote software access.
